Psychology Services
Based at our South Perth offices, the psychology team are available for assessment and recommendations for program goals along with consultation to help treat a range of specific issues. Psychology makes up an integral support system offered beyond Early Childhood Intervention. ISADD can provide specialised one-on-one or group support for school-aged children, adolescents, and adults with ASD and associated diagnoses that may present with the following symptoms:
Emotion regulation specific to anxiety/stress/worry/specific phobias
Emotion regulation related to anger/opposition/defiance/aggression
Treatment or advice to treat rituals, OCD-like behaviour and/or inflexibility
Referral to external psychiatric services for advice on medication options
Treatment plans for sleep disturbances
Treatment plans and/or advice for toileting issues
Treatment plans for eating issues
Differential diagnosis of additional psychological conditions
Parent support, training and/or counselling in dealing with grief, depression or anxiety
